Mercy Prep Fridays: Enrich. Explore. Excel.

Students will explore a world of artistic expression, cultivate technical skills, and embark on an inspiring journey of self-discovery under the guidance of talented professionals. Classes are held on Fridays and are open to Mercy Prep students and the Christian homeschool community.

Students may dress casually on Fridays, wearing jeans or uniform bottoms paired with a Mercy Prep spirit shirt (available here) and closed-toe, closed-heel shoes.

Stretch n Grow – Music and Fitness

Offered in partnership with Stretch-n-Grow, this exciting 85-minute class combines their signature fitness and music programs into one high-energy experience. Students will build coordination, rhythm, and healthy habits through a fun blend of physical activity and early music education—designed to keep young learners moving, learning, and engaged from start to finish.

Robotics

An exciting, hands-on class where students learn the basics of building and programming robots. Through teamwork and creative problem-solving, they explore STEM concepts and bring their ideas to life using kid-friendly technology.

Poetry

This interactive class is divided into three segments: suffix exercises, rhyme identification, and guided poem creation, all designed to inspire creativity and develop poetic skills. Students explore the art of rhyme and self-expression with content tailored to their grade level.

STEM

A hands-on introduction to science, technology, engineering, and math for young learners. Students will build, experiment, and explore through fun activities that spark curiosity and lay the foundation for future STEM learning.

Art

Our Friday Art Class invites students to explore their creativity through a variety of mediums and techniques. From drawing and painting to mixed media projects, students learn foundational art skills while expressing themselves in fun, hands-on ways. This class fosters imagination, confidence, and a love for creating.
